The BibTri “Jorge Rabinovich” database (BIBliography of TRIatomines) was created by Dr. Jorge Eduardo Rabinovich (1937-2026), who initially contacted various editors of scientific journals with whom he maintained a long correspondence. These editors offered valuable suggestions and kindly authorized him to use electronic copies of their articles in PDF format. His idea to create this bibliographic database allowed him to consolidate the Triatomine Laboratory at CEPAVE and provide a fundamental tool for all researchers and healthcare professionals involved with Chagas disease, especially those working with the insect vectors of this disease.
BibTri is available for free access and currently includes more than 20,000 bibliographic references. The creation of BibTri is the result of a great effort and the collaboration of many colleagues and organizations
